Cafe 52 Fourteen

Tucked a few steps off Goolwa’s main street, Cafe 52 Fourteen is a genuine hidden gem. I’ve lost count of the times I’ve popped in—whether it’s a bacon-and-egg roll with punchy house relish, a nostalgic choccy milkshake, or their surprisingly awesome butter chicken, everything is fresh, well-seasoned and clearly made with care. Portions are generous without losing finesse, and the friendly owners make every visit feel like catching up with mates. If you’re anywhere near Goolwa, do yourself a favour and swing by—good food, good people, every time.

I decided to drive to Goolwa and surrounds this beautiful Saturday and checked out some of the eateries beforehand on Google. When I saw that Cafe 52 had The Reuben and good reviews, I had to give them a try. The setting inside and outside is lovely and welcoming and I was greeted with a smile. The owner and her daughter were serving. There is an excellent choice of food items, including smoothies, cakes and icecream. After ordering the Reuben I waited a fair while for the food to arrive. However, it was definitely worth the wait. It had just the right amount of everything and the flavour was amazing. Being on my own and such a beautiful day, I thought I'd eat my lunch in the park. However, I wouldn't hesitate to eat in next time as it seems to me that everyone is made to feel welcome here. I'm also keen to try some of their other menu items and most certainly their icecream .

Stumbled across Cafe 52 Fourteen this morning and loved it. The food and coffee were both delicious Customer service was fantastic! No faults at all. Thank-you! We will be back for a visit next time we are in Goolwa.

Tim and Heather are two of the loveliest business owners I have had the pleasure of meeting- great coffee (especially happy with this as a decaf drinker), great food, friendly service. If you are dropping by in Goolwa make sure you grab a bite! Thanks so much guys!

Loved this cafe when we stopped at Goolwa! -Variety of food and we tried eight different dishes and all is amazing -Friendly staff and lots of smiles -Centrally located in the town and there is parking right behind Did I mention they have ice-cream and the scoop they serve is way too generous!

A wonderful place to go for all day breakfast or lunch.... Though if you look at the sweets selection, maybe skip the yummy main food and just indulge in multiple treats with a coffee?? The husband and wife combination works and they are a pleasure to deal with. Well worth a visit or two when in town

My wife and I popped in here the other day for lunch while we were child free. The cafe itself was lovely, clean and tidy with seating both inside and out (we sat outside under a nice big shady tree) and the staff were friendly. We got a chicken burger and a crispy pork rice bowl, which we were very happy with flavour wise (the chips were very well seasoned and crispy too) as well as a couple coffees and ice creams. The coffees were yummy and hot and the ice cream was to die for. If we had one critism, my wife wished the crispy pork was a bit more crispy than what she got but overall everything was amazing and we will definitely be going back whenever we are child free again as there are other menu items we are very excited to try. We would highly recommend anyone wanting a yummy brunch or lunch to go here and give this lovely little cafe a.go.

We drove to Goolwa for an hour without expecting anything but was glad to have stumbled upon Cafe 52 Fourteen We were celebrating Gizmo's birthday weekend for turning 13yo and have had an incredible brunch here. Gizmo even got treats and a puppacino! Looking forward to coming back again because their food and gelato were incredible!
